5,000 hand-drawn characters by Arnold Tsang, co-creator of Azuki. Mint one and the full licensing rights are yours — build your own story, print your own merch. Or license it back into the next Kumoki comic and earn $KUMOKI every time your character is featured.
$KUMOKILaunching today — 本日発行
Every Kumoki character lives in one world: Alleria — a crypto metropolis reduced to smoke and rubble. Robinhood took the town. Skull-faced machines patrol the streets, and the founder smiles down from every billboard, promising he's "in on crypto to make a global impact for good." The streets have a different word for it.
街は静かに燃えている。
機械は嘘を守り、雲鬼は真実を探す。
Issue 01 is complete — thirty pages, drawn and lettered, sealed until the drop. From Issue 02 onward, the cast opens up: minted characters get written into the story. The city needs heroes, villains, barkeeps and troublemakers. One of them could be yours.
This is not a PFP that sits in a wallet. It's a character with a contract — mint it, own every right to it, and put it to work on the pages of a real comic.
5,000 characters, minted blind. Each one assembled from 187 hand-drawn traits — hats, armor, hair, beards, weapons, backgrounds and more. No two alike.
Full licensing rights transfer to you at mint. Write your character's story, sell prints, make merch, launch a spin-off — no permission needed, ever. Read the terms.
Submit your character for casting. From Issue 02 onward, the writers pull heroes, villains and background chaos straight from the minted 5,000.
Every panel your character appears in earns you $KUMOKI. Recurring roles, cover appearances, spin-offs — the bigger the part, the bigger the cut.

君の雲鬼が、次の号に登場する。
The masked stranger in Issue 01? A character just like yours. From Issue 02, casting opens to all 5,000 minted Kumoki — and every appearance pays its owner in $KUMOKI.
Casting FAQEvery hat, every blade, every stray hair — drawn in house by Arnold Tsang. No generated fill, no outsourced batches. Eight categories combine into 5,000 characters, and the math makes sure no two Kumoki ever match.
The first faces out of the ink. Who they become — heroes, villains, legends of Alleria — is up to whoever mints them. Full collection classified until reveal: these are the only ones we're allowed to show.
Collection classified — 詳細非公開Issue 01 is finished — thirty pages, drawn and lettered — and it is not for sale. Only fragments surface: a panel, a corner of a page, a rumor from Alleria. The book finds its own readers — airdropped to Kumoki holders, at random. Hold a character. Watch the sky.

A letter from Arnold Tsang — 手紙
I've spent my career building worlds — characters people cosplay, tattoo on their arms, argue about at 2am. And the thing I keep coming back to is this: a character only really lives when there's a story wrapped around it.
So this time we're doing it in the right order. I drew 187 traits by hand — every hat, every blade, every aura — and they assemble into 5,000 characters. When you mint one, it isn't a picture you own. It's a cast member. The licensing rights come with it, fully: write your own book, print your own shirts, build your own legend. I never get to tell you no, and I wouldn't want to.
And when you'd rather see your character on our pages than write your own — license it back. From Issue 02, the cast of the comic comes from the minted 5,000, and every appearance pays the owner in $KUMOKI. The masked stranger in Issue 01 is my promise to you that it works.
No corners were cut on these characters. Mint the one that stares back, and I'll see you in Alleria.
Kumoki (雲鬼) — cloud demon. The spirit that lives between worlds: between panels and pages, between a character and the person who owns it. We are a comic house where the readers own the cast — and the cast gets paid.
Every Kumoki is drawn to survive a story — expressive enough for a splash page, distinct enough for a cover. 187 hand-drawn traits, zero filler.
Full licensing rights at mint. Your character, your story, your merch, your rules. We license characters from you — never the other way around.
When your character appears in a Kumoki comic, you earn $KUMOKI. Writers cast from the minted 5,000 — recurring roles pay recurring rewards.
5,000 hand-drawn Kumoki, classified until reveal. Previews on the Discover page. Mint details announced on official channels.
Issue 01 — thirty finished pages — airdropped to holders at random. Not for sale. No date. No warning.
License your character into Issue 02. Casting mechanics and $KUMOKI reward rates published before the writers' room opens.
Spin-offs, holder-written one-shots, community canon. The universe grows in whatever direction its owners take it.
